Protesters in Istanbul, Turkey are still Çapuling in Taksim Square as Tayyip Erdoğan swears Gezi Park will be torn down!
After returning from his North African tour, the Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan was greeted by throngs of supporters … who he had to call and ask to show up. Meanwhile, cities throughout Turkey are still experiencing daily protests and police are still brutalizing peaceful citizens without restraint. Tayyip called the protesters “terrorists” and said “we are having trouble keeping 50% of people in their houses.” Well maybe he should consider talking to that 50%, because there is no sign that the Çapuling is going to stop.
