Major League Baseball is looking to suspend about 20 players, including Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun, Melky Cabrera, Nelson Cruz and Jhonny Peralta in an ongoing performance-enhancing drug scandal, ESPN’s Outside the Lines has learned.

Tony Bosch, founder of the now defunct Biogenesis of America anti-aging clinic, reached an agreement this week to work with the MLB’s investigation. Bosch has been under investigation for quite some time. MLB filed a lawsuit alleging that Bosch sold performance-enhancing drugs to professional ball players. Worried that he would need money for a legal expenses, Bosch asked A-Rod for money, but was refused.

So Bosch decided to turn snitch and now the MLB has reached an agreement with Bosch to cooperate in its investigation into possibly the biggest drug scandal in baseball history. When Biogenesis closed its doors last year, records were released to the public in a Miami New Times report. The reportedly show drug use by as many as 20 players including, Rodriguez, Braun, Melky Cabrera and Nelson Cruz.

Maybe instead of banning PEDs, the MLB should start making its own and force everyone to take them. Instead of watching the All-Star Game, everyone could be watching the All-Steroid Game. Just think of the plays we would see.
